  4. To be fair both bikes were excellent and used almost exactly the same amount of fuel, the GS with its Corbin seat and AirHawk 2 was by far the most comfortable.

  5. Sounds a great trip. I will need to Google map the route.
Are you running the standard front sprocket?
Look forward to seeing the vid.

  6. Yes absolutely standard chain and sprockets, when they need changing i will go for the same no of teeth but fit a DiD chain.

My daughter who is producing the video has too much homework so they maybe a day or two delay.

  7. IMAG0708.jpg IMAG0711.jpg 6k mile service and 6 month ownership, just a quick note for anyone interested.

I like it, enough power for all weathers, has enough puff for safe passing, handles to the point were you are scraping the side sliders on your boot. Front is a little soft and could do with being a little stiffer, but not annoying. Mechanically, no problems, seems pretty bulletproof.
Tyres still good after 6k. Chain and sprockets all good.
Had warranty change the front led spotlight. Of course got rear ended, but bike was just scratched, got repaired with no visible or riding issues.
Other than a rusty nut on a pannier bracket, no rust. I do use a lot of acf50 and rode salted rode through the winter.
