Following the "it might be me" train of thought, have you spent any time at a riding school, something like California Superbike School, or have an instructor follow you around on a track day? I'm not in anyway fast, but I enjoy the odd track day and think about my riding. But time with an expert watching me was a revelation. I had a bunch of habits which made the bike work harder than it needed to. Yes, these courses are super expensive. But then you've dropped silly cash on a Pani already, so not bad relative to that plus it's a real fun day out!! Ian
