I like Paul Merton's take on things..... He once said that his father didn't worry about bombs being dropped during the war. He reckoned you were perfectly safe unless the bomb had your name on it. Their next-door neighbours, Mr & Mrs Doodlebug weren't too happy, though.
To me Sean Lock always comes across like a real smug twat... funny how people's opinion on what's funny is so different...
I notice no-one on here has said anything about "League of Gentlemen" or "Little Britain"... They call that "alternative comedy" because that's what it is - an alternative to comedy ! Utter dross... ( in my opinion... )
Well somebody's going to point it out so it may as well be me. The thread is all about favourite comedian, not favourite TV comedy show. .........but I disagree about League of Gentlemen - a great dark comedy.
