Bol D’or
If only I’d remembered to get up early on Thursday morning I could have ridden to the Bol D’or and relived my youth this weekend. The smell of wood smoke, merguez sausages cooking, hot bikes being thrashed for 24 hrs. The run down the hillside to the supermarket for more beer supplies, the general madness and companionship of good friends (one of whom is sadly no longer with us). -
Meet The New Boss
I needed a thou in my life again. And a WSBK winning year one to boot.

Diary Of A Trip To Bologna
Short break with my boys until Weds. Arrived late last night and a short sleep before a 1000h guided museum tour.
It was bloody brilliant.
It's very quiet here as the locals are away.
Food, transport and accommodation all a lot cheaper than I expected and everyone is so friendly. -

My 2001 Fortis Ducati Watches
Here is a pic of my two beauties; a Fortis Flieger Chrono and a regular Flieger. Thought I would share now that I have a matching NOS set....
These were released in 2001 (I'm pretty sure) to commemorate all of Carl Fogarty's WSBK wins. I'm much more of a Troy Bayliss fan and I own a 2001 996R, so since these were in the 2001 Ducati catalogue...when in Rome. These did not appear in the 2002 catalogue.
Does anyone know if they were in the 2000 Ducati catalogue?
Post up and let's see your Ducati watches! -
First Tour On A Panigale
So I’m back from my first tour on my 1299s, must admit I was apprehensive but, what a machine, sore arse(my fault for not getting a comfort seat) but considering my injuries I’m over the moon how I came back.
470 mile first day wasn’t as bad as it sounds leaving me more time up there.
Covered 1204 miles in 3.5 days, 10 islands, 6 causeways,4 ferries in 6 days.bike now touching 10k and looking forward to the next one.
Love this machine and have a true connection with it now. -
Triumph Street Triple 2010
Well I picked this bike up last month as wanted something cheap and easy to ride, a company I do there mots for had it for sale so I had it for a good deal, new tyres, chain and sprockets, rear shock and service were done just after I got it. Its a cracking little bike very nimble , it's so fun to ride. -

851 - 1993 Strada Biposta (in Bits) Restoration
Ok lets get this thing started as I feel its going to be a long one.
A few months ago I bought what I think is a 1993 851 Strada Biposta - in bits. I had renovated a 900SS from a complete strip down so was not really worried about the rebuild. Obvioulsly since getting the 900SS I had always lusted after a Superbike but felt another bike in the 8 -10k price range was not really something that was affordable or could justify to the Mrs. This came up at 4k, I don't mind say the price, please feel free to say its about right, I've been ripped off or I got a bargain. I thought at lease I could just about get (most) of my money back if I sold the parts.
It was bought from a mechanic who runs a bike shop, so rightly or wrongly presumed the work done so far would be to a professional standard. The engine and heads were build up and looked in good condition, the frame was painted not powder coated, panels and tank in good order.
Its taken a bit to sort the garage out and get a bit (and I... -

V4 Added A Bit Of Red
Quite liked the idea of trying a red bash plate to add a bit of colour, so bought a cheap new silver one that was removed at a dealer before use. Sprayed it red, a bit orange peely, should have rubbed it down a bit more before lacquer, if I like it after a while, I may get it powder coated so it's a bit more hard wearing. -
Hello, Here Are My Bikes.
Hello there,
I am from Nowra, Australia and have two Ducatis. My first intro into the Ducati word is my 2022 Multisrada V2S. I love this bike. It is exactly what I was after. I have back issues so the upright seating style suits me and I can get away with my son and do the odd bit of camping here and there.
I have also recently purchased a used 2018 XDiavel S. Not what I was looking for, actually I wasn't looking at all, but it is such a lovely bike. And when I rode it, wow. I just fell in love. I can't ride it for more than about an hour in one go, so it suits me for short trips and some occasional fun.
Bot h bikes are completely different, but I enjoy them for what they were made for.
