Carl Fogarty
I spent the majority of the 90s out of bikes and bike racing so although I was always aware of Carl Fogarty & got into the sport towards the end of his career, I hadn’t realised his origins in WSB. Just been watching a Sky Sports documentary. Did you lot know that in order to compete, he had to go and buy his own Ducati from a dealer, whereupon he went and beat the Works riders in his first race? After which apparently Ducati noticed him. Great story! -
Snow Man Build.
The Wife and daughter challenged me to a snow man build off.
needless to say that they got thrashed.
Daughter attempted to swap side half way through. -
David Jefferies Gsxr
One for the TT fans among us, this is David jefferies gsxr k3 from 2003. The last bike the big man rode before setting off on the super bike practise and was tragically killed. This bike was in the production class and set the fastest lap time of 122.57 mph. I was lucky to get it before Suzuki nabbed it for there museum! Every thing is stamped with tas and dj and I have all the paperwork from tas racing and the TT, bikes were supposed to be relatively stock but think most were tuned, this bike was raced in the nw200 as well but have yet to find any results.
Im honoured to be able to own such a magical bike with so much history and providence. -
2008 Street Triple - Roulette Green
Hi everyone, i’ve not been very active on here since selling my 916 and recently been busy with our first child but now back on two wheels again. This is my third street triple but first gen 1 bike. Always fancied an original round headlight street triple and this early pre R version caught my attention in the awesome Roulette green. For anyone who hasn’t ridden a street triple I urge you to try one, any of them from over the years. They’re the perfect balance of power and agility, the steering is telepathic and a much better bike than the Speed triple IMO. Oh and the induction noise! I first rode one in 2010 (my fathers bike at the time) and instantly fell in love with them. Previously i’ve owned them in parallel with my Ducati’s but this is currently my only bike..... for now, hope to have a red friend for it at some point.

New Multistrada Owner
Hello all!
I am currently living in Florida and after 20+ years of riding and wanting a Ducati, I finally made the leap about 4 months ago. I'm glad I did. I love my Multistrada Grand Tour. I have browsed this site searching for information and inspiration, so I thought I would join the group. Looking forward to any future conversations with all of you.
Cheers. -
Nostromo’s Tardis
Hi all
As I’ve had another Italian addition, I thought I would make a joint thread for my 749 projects.
Some of you may have seen my Radical corsa evo build, this is still ongoing albeit slowly. I want that bike to be something special, so I have refocused the plan,I am now aiming for a radical but with rs parts/spec. First I will be stripping the paint from the engine and giving it a fresh paint job, with some cera coated covers finished off with some ti bolts and stm slipper clutch.
But before I can continue with the radical, I must tidy up my other 749.
I started today by fitting a new battery, fuel couplings, mirror glass and some new levers. After getting the side panels of I was treated with a load of grime. Will have to give it a good deep clean at some point this week. -

First Ducati: 996r
Hello to everyone.
Back in the nineties I remember seeing a 916 in the local Ducati dealership when I was at college and thought it was the most beautiful modern era bike I had ever seen.
Anyway, many years later I have been able to fulfil a dream and earlier today took delivery of a 996R which joins my little collection of bikes down here in Bournemouth.
Here's a pic - can't wait to get it out on the road when the weather improves!
Look forward to hanging out with you guys.

New Member Intro
Hello all,
New to this form but not to motorcycling. Been a rider since before the age of 10 beginning with small minibikes moving up to enduro's and motocross. Started street riding 5+ years ago because I ran upon a deal from a co-worker. I bought a 1973 Honda CL350 for 100 dollars that was parked in a shed for 17 years that did not run. Eventually with a lot of work I got it running and cleaned it up and enjoyed riding the hell out of it. Always loved the looks and style of Ducati's and pulled the trigger on a 2012 Monster ABS about a year ago.. So glad I did. I love this bike and looking for another. Hope to learn as much as I possibly can from this site. Currently I reside in Indianapolis, IN. USA. Cheers to all. -
Ducati Ends 2020 In Strong Recovery, Crowned By The Motogp Constructors' World Title
Best-ever six-month period allows Ducati to end the year with 48,042 bikes sold in over 90 countries
China, Germany and Switzerland confirm their growth trend, improving results compared to 2019
Ducati Scrambler is the best-selling family in 2020 with 9,265 units delivered while the Streetfighter V4 is the most distributed model with 5,730 bikes
The new products in the Ducati 2021 range generate a very positive order portfolio at the beginning of the year which allows us to look to the future with enthusiasm and confidence
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 13 January 2020 - Despite the complex global situation and the seven-week halt in production right at the peak period of the season that heavily impacted the first six months, Ducati Motor Holding concluded 2020 with a record second half.
Thanks to the results obtained from July to December, Ducati was able to deliver a total of 48,042 bikes in 2020, limiting the sales differential compared to 2019 to -9.7%. This is a... -
Newby - '20 Panigale V4s
Hi All, Happy New Year from East Yorkshire in Lockdown 3
Got my 2020 Panigale V4S delivered December and manage to get out on it 4 times so far, once to get PPF applied (where they took these pics). Bike now has the much needed tail tidy fitted.
Part ex'd my K5 and got a good deal on this, with extended warranty.
I've had a number of bikes over the years and done a bit of racing (Hottrax - Modern Classics, plus a couple of races with No Limits and some Plopping too). Wished I'd had a shot on a Desmo Due, who also raced with us at Hottrax, where I also did commentary for 2014 season.
I've also been lucky enough to have visited MotoGP at Mugello 3 times so far, including riding from UK once. What an experience!
I'm definitely looking to try and get out & use the bike this year, living next to some amazing riding roads in Yorkshire & Lincolnshire. Will be watching club racing, BSB, WSBK and MotoGP again this year & attending as many as I can.
If there's anything happening... -
Brands Indy - 2005!
Digging through some old hard drives in lockdown, found this vid from 2005. I wonder who owns my 748R now.. (#242 I think) and my brother's foggy rep. Yep, we should have kept them both!
I still remember gaffa taping my miniDV camcorder that had cost me over a grand inside the single seat unit and wondering if it would shake to bits. It was wired to a remote lipstick camera gaffered in various spots through the day. Fun times. -
Went To Buy A Bike And Ended Up With This Instead!!
Bike now on the back burner until I find a job, we needed a more practical mode of transport initially and I’ve saved the expense of having to buy 2 new helmets (we bought jackets jeans and boots with us on the plane)
Ordered a black rear spoiler to finish it off
It even projects a pony on the floor when you open the door -

Books
Today I received my signed copy limited edition Maria Costello revised Queen of bikers
I met Maria when I was involved in DD racing and we chatted on the pit wall at Assen (I didn’t know who she was at the time) we chatted about the racing and the boys I wonder if she enjoyed not being recognised at that time as the conversation was typically girls chat.
Anyway I have 191/200 and a dedication I’m chuffed to bits -
