For Sale Panigale V4 - Very Special
2018 V4 with only 1215 miles on the clock.

Extras approx £2,750 and so new this would cost circa £22k - I'm looking for £16,995 or nearest offer. Based in East Sussex.

1098 1098r - R Is For Ridiculous
I've posted details of my 1098R many times on here, but I used it in anger for the 1st time in about 2 1/2 years today and I have to say.........what a silly motorcycle.
It's almost impossible to use on the road. It'll do about 70mpt in 1st due to the small rear sprocket, wants to wheelie everywhere and even at sensible revs and throttle input, the front just skims the tarmac. It pops and bangs. shoots flames out of the exhaust on occasions when using the quick shifter and nearly throws you over the handlebars if you want to use more than one finger to brake.
I had a trapped nerve in my neck a few months ago that looked to have righted itself. 2 weeks ago it started to come back and the riding position today has really agrivated it. I was actually thinking "I'm too old for this, should I sell it and buy a BMW GS?" Then, my mate who was behind me for some of the day said "When I'm behind you, it looks like the Millenium Falcon jumping into hyperspace when you... -
My Nitron Z900rs
The winters are very long in Minnesota so you need a project. Late last year I picked up a leftover black Z900RS with the idea to do a few mods. As usual, one thing lead to another and now the bike stands me a lot more than I paid for it. I fitted a Nitron shock and decided to match the Nitron blue on the bodywork, since I saw it on a Japanese custom Z1 a few years ago.
Surrey Customs are the best when it comes to Z900RS paint (they do a lot of specials for Kawa UK and their dealers), so I sent the bodywork back to the UK. Gary Collins at Surrey got the paint code off Nitron and did his usual awesome job. Anyway its done now. Last job was to fit a Brembo Supersport rear, but decided to put the money towards a Duc -
Conwa's Bikeporn Shed Got A Real Bike Now :)
Hi all,
My name is Marcel and I'm Dutch.
Not Dutch with money so I like it to roll, especially to my pride and joy. At the moment I have 3. After 4 years of riding bikes I just bought nr. 10
2016 Ducati Hypermotard with full Termigogni exhaust. Before this I also had a 2015 scrambler SRC, but I was too tall to ride it properly without pain..
I also own a 2017 Husqvarna 701 and a fully newly build up 1976 Honda CB500.
I'm currently waiting for my license plates, so haven't driven the beast yet...
Already bought some goodies:
Tail Tidy!license plate holder
14t front sprocket
Rear axle plate (gold)
Wheel nuts (black)
Axle nuts (red)
Black Shifter
Led lamp for headlight
I have read that there is a bin thing so here are my papers in the bin, because currently I can't drive the bike and there are no bins nearby..

Buying First Duc Aged 62.
Hi all, I’m from the UK, lived in the US for last 10 years. I raced TZ750s back in the 70s, against Ron Haslam, Joey and Robert Dunlop, and Foggy was just starting out on a TZ250 as I ran out of money. Also raced at the MGP on TZ750s. Did a couple of track days a couple a years ago on an RSVR at Laguna. Had a nice lowside first time out but enjoyed myself. I still bounce OK. Want to try something a bit quicker now, so either an 1199R or V4S. Also going to retire to UK in 4 years and will bring the bike back with me. Would love to ride at Cadwell again though when I see it on YouTube now it looks really narrow. Don’t remember it like that but we all weighed about 9 stone back in the 70s... -

1199 New Panigale R
Well guys here's the panigale R.
It's on a 65 plate with 6k on the clock and it's mental to ride!! I surprised how easy it is to ride after the 996 though. So smooth and gear change is faultless. It's also got hpk discs on the front which is a bonus , loads of carbon but I think that's standard but I've got some more coming from @nmack8. Its mint condition other than a crack in the tail unit which is being replaced with a new panel. I can't stop looking at it it's just ace.. Here are the pics. -
Another Mot Done
Seems I did 1000 miles last year on the poor thing - touring Mid Wales and a few track days. -
1199 Most Expensive Tank Pad....ever?
So I popped into my local dealer to order a tank pad for the 1260 Multistrada and ended up putting a deposit down on this and after a couple of weeks she’s finally home.
Oh and the tank pad was £45 -

Brings My Pathetic Troubles Into Sharp Relief
Not sure why I’m posting this, just want to get it off my chest really.
I try to be an upbeat person, try to be kind (most of the time) & even where I differ politically, culturally or any other way, I think that I try to do the right thing. But it doesn’t stop me bitchin’ about my lot sometimes or feeling irritated at the most pointless of things & then life chucks you one of these people:
Met a guy today who’d been forced to sell a large part of the equity in his property to pay his wife’s care costs, the company he sold to clearly ripped him off, then went bust & his new company wanted a property inspection. Enter me.
He stops me at the door & asked if I would be OK with his wife smoking as she has terminal cancer & dementia & would not understand if I objected. Of course I didn’t.
He also has a large hole in the middle of his head, literally a hole, where his cancerous tumor was removed last year. The flat is pokey, untidy & dark (to keep costs down) & he constantly... -
That Was Too Close!!!!
So, I've never had to use or test the ABS, DTC etc on my Panigale until today...there I am nearly home and I go from a 40mph to a 60mph onto a dual carriageway. I was luckily only travelling at 60 when I saw a tractor with a very long trailer coming toward me on the opposite side of the carriageway...next thing I know he's crossing in front of to get to the field, no indication straight across the dual carriageway blocking it completely with nowhere for me to go, he had clearly not seen me. I had to do an emergency stop and the Panigale handled it superbly, I could feel the tyres gripping and then releasing and I managed to stop before imbedding myself in the side of the tractor trailer
All can say is...thank you to my panigale...she seriously saved my bacon today
As for the tractor driver who was completely oblivious to what he had caused...I'm paying them a visit tomorrow
Be careful out there people -
Just Going Out - Maybe Some Time
finally.... it’s been a tough year, we all have them - but I am off solo. Jumped on board a ferry to France with my mutley and we are going exploring... wish me luck -
A Real Looker
For a GS best one they’ve made imho. Colours, style, loving the gold spoked rims.
And the dash is incredible. Bright, large, clear and no need for satnav: connect phone with app and it puts the nav on the main screen!
Think me and this bike will do some miles -
For Sale Panigale Gopro Bracket
So I've started making a few bits for the bike and thought I'd offer them out on here to anyone interested.
More function over form but nice and cheap and do the job nicely.
GoPro / Camera Mount
Made from 1.2mm ali and pressed to clear the top yoke these sit perfectly and allow a camera to be mounted directly with a sticky pad. Use the existing fixings for the key surround so fits on and off in seconds.
I've put some photos below showing the bracket, fitted, camera mounted and also the view it gives from my camera, great viewing for trackdays as you can see all the info on the dash and out the front. Worth pointing out all the trackdays I go on they do state no cameras allowed on the tank, these sit just in front so no complaints from marshalls...
I'm happy to make these for any bike but will need some dimensions given as I only have the V4 to trial on...!

Massimo Tamburini's 916 At The Ducati Museum
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 1 August 2019 – As part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the Ducati 916's production launch Ducati Museum now features a new, incredible piece of its history: Massimo Tamburini's 916. An authentic masterpiece “owned” by the legendary designer.
This exhibition, made possible by the precious collaboration of the Ducati Museum with Simona Tamburini, Massimo’s daughter and the owner of the motorcycle, allows to reveal some secrets behind a legendary bike. The 916 on display is one of the three prototypes from which Tamburini developed the bike until its industrialisation in 1994.
Massimo Tamburini, who had already developed the Paso 750 for Ducati, with the 916 developed a bike that was a real revolution in the motorcycle world. The 916's aerodynamics and chassis were developed exclusively on the roads of Rimini and at the Misano and Mugello circuits. For six, long years Tamburini meticulously studied every detail, without ever using... -
