821 Single Sided Swingarm Conversion
Got a 1200R swinger , rear wheel and ohlins rear shock at a good price so it was a no brainer , I think they should have come like this from factory. A picture of the bike when I first picked it up 10 months ago to now . -
For Sale For Sale: 899 Panigale
Selling my much loved 899 due to moving the Canada later this year. I thought long and hard about shipping it over but I’d have to mothball it until it was 15 years old before I could ride it there.
63 reg, I’m 3rd owner since 2019
7200ish miles
Pretty much stock apart from levers and headlight bulbs (still have originals)
Tail tidy (still have original elephant wang)
Full dealer service history, next service due around April, all receipts going back to 2013
Termi cans
Radiator guard from one of the decent radiator guard makers, the name escapes me. Evotech maybe?
Optimate charger and dust cover included
I can confirm any the details once I can be arsed to go to the garage, always stored inside, I’m a mild mannered granny who’s never tracked it etc etc
I’ve loved owning it, will most likely buy another once I’ve moved. Thought I’d offer here before chucking it on autotrader.
£8500 to the forum seems about right, I’m in north London. -

Acf50 Spraying
Finally found a spray bottle that will mist ACF50 as long as the loaded spray bottle is heated in hot water.
When you need to use the spray bottle again you'll need to warm the spray end in the hot water as well.

New Rider First Bike First Forum….
Hey,
New to this game but long time love for Ducati’s! Passed my test around a month ago at 43 and has always been something I wanted to achieve. Always wanted a 916 but as a first bike the insurance for myself was steep. Bought a 2002 748 instead as insurance was incredibly lower and affordable. Now saving for the 916 to join my new hobby and collection of Ducati. The love of these has been with me since I was a teenager in the 90s and listening to these machines flying past my house going to the local motorbike meet at the greyhound pub in wickhambrook suffolk. Never left me and now I own a small part of this. I was warned by a couple of motorbike enthusiasts work colleagues about these bikes and told numerous times not to buy Ducatis BUT of course it was falling on deaf ears and rightly so. They clearly have no taste! When I hit the start and them termi’s burble I care none what of other opinions! Thank you for letting me join in the group and hopefully read some helpful posts... -

1299 Carbon Parts Refurbished
The previous owners had polished some of the carbon on my Panigale R and even rattle can gloss lacquered the exhaust shroud which made me very unhappy . So, I stripped all of the original lacquer off the carbon parts, rubbed them down to a smooth finish then found some 2k Matt lacquer. There was some damage to the front mudguard, probably caused by a disc lock and some gouges in the clutch cover which I repaired with some clear araldite. I painted the carbon parts yesterday and I think the results are excellent. So much so that I had to paint the chain shark tooth guard and shock protector as they looked crap next to the newly painted parts. -

Signed The Dotted Line
I've been lurking on the forum for a while, whilst I decide on what my next bike is going to be. I thought it was time to say hello, as I took a MSV4 for a test ride on Monday. Coming from a 2018 Z1000SX, so quite a different bike.
I'll post my thoughts in the MS forum. -

Forum Creations - Anything You Build/make/paint - Art, Sculpture (no Cars Or Bikes)
Thought we could try a thread showing other things we tinker with outside of engines and bikes...I suspect a lot of people on here are building more than just motorbikes.
I've just finished these...took a decent amount of time to get them right, actually bloody ages. -
V4 Motogp Fairing Project
Right I’ve been back and forth on this for a few months and I’ve decided what the hell, let’s see if I can do it. Sure it’s gonna annoy some folk, but the winters long and if I don’t do it I’ll only do something else equally as pointless
Can I make a full set of MotoGP Ducati Factory bodywork to fit a panigale V4?
So I started by buying a 1:18 Jack miller model GP22 factory bike and scanned it with one of my RevoPoint 3D scanners. With the 3D model I’ve started remodelling the panels in CAD and with a scan of my V4 (without fairing) I’ve scaled the GP22 panels and overlayed on the V4 mesh.
so while I’m sure I can make the fairings by 3D printing and them either making a mould or skinning them directly in fibreglass or carbon fibre, I’ve not decided yet and I think there will be some trial and error along the way. So I’ll probably make some videos to show the carnage and chaos of trying to make a complete set of MotoGP panels
so I’ll pop some updates on here as I go... -
For Sale Supersport 900 I.e. 1999
I have just completed a nut and bolt restoration of this Supersport 900 i.e over the last 18 months and I am now selling it to someone to enjoy it and to find another project.
I haven't advertised anywhere else as I would like this bike to go to someone in here who loves these bikes. I have spent quite a lot to get this bike as near to a new bike as possible and I have more than 100 photos of the works I have gone through during the rebuild which I'm happy to share. The bike has 15000 miles, service history, two keys, 7 previous owners and ULEZ exempt.
Apologies for the long list of things done to the bike:
Front wheel: New bearings, new seals, new speedo drive seal, powder coated, new valve and new Pirelli tire
Rear Wheel: New bearings, new seals, powder coated, new cush drives, new valve and new Pirelli tire
Frame: Powder coated new head bearings, new stainless steels bolts and nuts, engine bolts and nuts are original
Front frame: powder coated, replaced anti vibration clock...
