998 Winter Upgrades!
So it’s been the 2nd winter that I’ve had the pleasure of owning my 998. I actually love this bike and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of modifying! Started life as a std 998, not an S, or an r as I just couldn’t afford them at the time. So, I’ve gone about increasing the spec to my own taste which I think is turning out well. Mods this winter are, full carbon fairing, painted to my take on an r version but to also match the std 998 tank decal, black wheels, new exact start battery leads, new billet corse sprocket flange, nos magnesium clutch casing, new EVR 48t clutch, carbon belt covers, rear hub re zinc plated, Ti bolts to be added and I think that’s it! Roll on next winter -

Sorry Another Agusta Thread, Full Ohlins Fitted On F4 1000r (luvvly Jubbly)
just got my 2010 f4 1000r Agusta back having been serviced and valve clearances checked and also having the suspension changed , I bought quite a few items from someone who had a 2011 f4 RR which had been written off due to someone leaving a small screwdriver in the air box and it going into the engine when bike was doing 80ish , anyway the rr has full ohlins suspension whereas mine has Marzocchi forks and Sachs rear shock, I bought quite a few spares off him as the RR is very similar just a sort of upgraded version of the r , the ohlins forks weren’t a direct swap but luckily the bits which were different I had already bought off the written off rr , items needed to fit the forks on mine were the rr front wheel spindle and the rr top yoke and also the handlebars needed to be changed , the ohlins look amazing on the Mv , I love the cnc’ing on the ends and the gold on them , -
Mclaren Senna Hypercar - Our Most Complex Project Ever
This guys and girls was our most ambitious and complex project undertaken.
Vehicle arrived under cover of darkness in a covered transporter - our end task was to apply paint protection film to the entire vehicle if we were able.
We are XPEL certified and ONLY use this film as it is the worlds best self healing films available currently.
Applied XPEL Ultimate PLUS to all the gloss areas and XPEL STEALTH to all the satin carbon areas....100% total coverage in paint protection film....a huge and complex undertaking but well worth the effort and cost given the HUGE value and end use of the vehicle.
Hope you enjoy the images... -

Lawnmower Restoration? Now You're Talking!
My father died a year ago and I decided to have his 1970s Ransomes Marquis lawnmower restored, so that I can use and admire it and remember him when I'm mowing.
I didn't do it myself for all sorts of good reasons:
I wouldn't know how to do much of it
I wouldn't be able to get the bits
I wouldn't have the time
I don't really have anywhere to do it
I found someone who can do a much better job than me - The Old Lawnmower Company.
I know this forum likes a good rebuild thread, even if the motor is a BSA rather than a Ducati, so rather than copy everything I have already written about it with all sorts of photos, just see it all on my blog. It's in a couple of parts:
Part One
Part Two
Happy lawnmower restoration reading! -
2019 Lincolnshire & Yorkshire Meets And Rides Out Thread.
Well it is that time of year again folks... 2018 proved to be another great year where the Lincolnshire Ride Out's and Meets thread was pretty popular and there were many successful meets and ride out's arranged through it in 2018 too (let's not mention the less successful ones where a certain Panigale and 1098R played funny buggers!)
I have decided to extend this year's thread to include Yorkshire as it appears our neighbouring county counterparts also like getting in on the action each year and also organising/hosting some great meets and rides out too
The 1198 is remaining in semi-retirement for the time being and I've decided to have another season on the Tricolore this year. Both the Panigale and Monster are currently at Italia Moto having a good once over, serviced and a couple of other little bits we wanted doing to each too...
There are a couple more bits and pieces I want to get sorted before the new season gets under way properly but everything looks like it's on... -

El Toro & Welcome To Our New Mod :-)
Hi all,
Regrettably, a few days ago @El Toro had made the decision to stop his role here as admin. It's a bloody difficult job, pretty thankless, and a voluntary role that is, to be honest, very hard to get it right. On one hand it's important to keep the place well maintained, well moderated and as free from useless crap as possible to help make it the best bike forum on the planet. Then on the other hand, in an ideal world, we would leave it be and let users self moderate.
Finding the balance between the two is pretty much impossible as everyone will have a different opinion.
The excellent news is that, after many many discussions (and I know El T has had many more message of support from members here) he's staying on as Admin here. He has been an integral part of this community since pretty much the beginning. Thanks El T, for everything you've done here I do hope that will continue for a long time.
Also, some more brilliant news; to support, @Ducbird will be joining the... -
Cagiva 944ie In Western Australia, Hi!
Hi all,
I just joined, thought I'd say hi. I'm located in Fremantle, Western Australia, and am the proud owner of a '93 Cagiva 900 Elefant, this one fitted with a 944ie ST2 motor and beautifully modified to some other nice specs.
I'll be posting looking for advice as it's not quite running right, and being my first Duke-engined bike, I'm a bit of a newbie on the subject. -
899 New Paint Job

916sps Owner - Lensdale Sa
Hello, I am joining a couple of international forums to see if any are worth belonging to any more. I have been a member of many Australian Forums over the years but most have now dried up in activity or closed down. They have gone over to Facebook, which I don't like.
I live in Lensdale in the Adelaide Hills, close to my family's 160 acre apple orchard - the area is full of orchards of fruit and table grapes.
I bought my bike in 2002 from the original owner. It is number 514. My intention is to build a suitable garage for her as she is kept in a shed under a tarpaulin along with harvesting machinery at the moment. Here she is: -

This Years Project -- 2000 996 Road / Track Bike
Having been an avid admirer of the Ducati 916 since its release, today I find myself the proud owner of two of these iconic bikes in original condition, namely a 916 Strada and 916 SP1, both released new on 20th June 94.
2018 was somewhat of a difficult year for our family and it was looking inevitable at one time that the bikes would be sold. Life moves on and over the Christmas period the decision was to either sell up or do something drastic and move forward so here we are.... The New 996 project.
Starting with a twisted frame and a logbook things are moving forward at pace..
A brand new frame has been purchased and the kitchen has become an assembly line.
Here are a few pictures and Ill add more as the project progresses. -
