Aragon Motogp On Monsters.
Dawn and I went from Lossiemouth in NE Scotland to the Aragon MotoGP on our Monsters, Dawns 821 and my 1200R. We rode from Lossie to Durham on the first day and stayed with friends. Day two was Durham to Kent. Monday morning chunnel, then on to Alencon were we stayed in a B&B. Then on to stay with friends in Marsillac-lanville. Next day to Bayonne. Then to Zaragosa for four days. On the Monday after the racing we went to Santander for the ferry to Portsmouth. From there we went to stay with Dawns cousin in Milton Keynes. Next day up the road to Ecclefechan. From there back home to Lossie. Magic trip, dry for most of time apart from Pitlochry to Lossie. Bikes never missed a beat. Mileage was 2500. Here's a few pics.
Our friends place in France, and yes we did have a swim.
View from our hotel in Zaragosa.
Well deserved.
One horse power.

If you want anything shifting this forum guy did a top job for me.
Carl known as ‘I’m closing in’ shifted my Husky out to Spain. He collected it from my gaff in London and dropped it off 2 or 3 days later near Malaga and made the whole process dead easy.
He’s now taking Bazzers bike back to the UK.
Whatever you want shifting, bike, bikes or anything else wherever, UK or Europe
give him a call.
A good guy doing a great job with his lovely Mrs helping.
Another successful forum connection, cheers Carl, you did a great job. -

1200 The Multi Is Dead, Long Live The .....
Another Multistrada of course.....duh !!!!!!!
The last one was the best bike i have ever owned so made sense to get another one
A few days after the accident i got a lift to my local Ducati place Seastar Superbikes/ Ducati Norwich to see what they had in stock to replace the wrecked GranTourismo.
After the usual piss taking about limping about the place and one working arm we had a look in the back of the workshop as something that i might be interested in had been traded in by a bloke who needed to free up some money and had chopped in his pride and joy for an ER6 of all things.
A 16 plate (late registration as the GT's were only made 2013 -2014) GranTourismo in Red with 6100 miles on the clock and a previous owner who could have been mates with Weeksy on the cleaning front .... it was immaculate with all the added extras i had on my old one.
I could have got a newer DVT model but mileage would have been higher and much lower spec for the budget i had available
Tony agreed... -

‘88 750 Sport
Hi Guys
New to the forum but not to DUCATI, have owned a 900SS, and 1199S Panigale. I’m actually in Australia but this forum seemed to have some life so hoping there’s some other owners of older Ducati’s here.
Have only owned this 750 Sport for a few months and took it to track for the first time yesterday. Loved it. -
1000 Multistrada Special Build
Last winter I built a Multistrada special out of an accident damaged 1000DS. I finished it in April and I have ridden the bike all summer… I LOVE it! Been finding excuses to just go for a ride on it!
However, there are aspects of the bike I really don’t like… first, the plastic tank… with the advent of ethanol in fuel, I can only see problems in the future… and also the electronics, already the LCD screen has failed, and some of the warning lights, which is a pain as they are a fortune.
I have been planning to build a bike that would be a “keeper” for years, and this may be it… So I have decided to rebuild it again over this winter… this time with a steel tank, a simple Electronic ignition, (Ignitech) and Carbs, yes, I know I am a dinosaur!
If people are interested I will update this thread as I progress with the build, but for now here are a few pictures of last year’s build, and a couple of progress so far…,
Here’s how it started out
Here it is finished….

Ducati Presents A New Colour Scheme For The Xdiavel
Borgo Panigale, Bologna, 26 September 2018 – Ducati is ready to reveal, at Intermot and EICMA, all the new models for 2019 and is previewing an all-new colour scheme for the XDiavel.
The latest colour to bedeck the Ducati cruiser will be Matt Liquid Concrete Grey, a grey that goes perfectly with the "total black" of the chassis and engine. The new dark brown seat completes the sophisticated yet sporty styling, sharpening the Ducati XDiavel's already distinctive character.

Moreover, it will continue to be available in Thrilling Black and Iceberg White, both with the red-trimmed stripe that makes the tank so eye-catching.
The XDiavel in its new colour scheme will be available in Ducati Stores starting from November onwards dependent on territory and the UK SRP will be £17195

Local annual event held a couple weekends ago, invites owners of Italian cars and motorcycles to participate. Free to attend and participate. 1200 DVT Maiden Ride
Morning folks, took my multistrada for her 1st ride out on Sunday. Covered nearly 100 miles, I must admit I was a little apprehensive due to how tall they stand and the top heavy weight (being a girl) WELL what a fantastic bike, Ducati's always make me smile. It handled like a dream and within 30 minutes I had got used to the different riding style to my Panigale.
Must admit I did like the looks the bike got too with the decals on. Money well spent on the bike, look forward to some trips out on her ..
Put a huge smile on my face
