Rich, They do tend to get pretty scruffy, dealing with all of the crap that is invariably thrown up, so it's probably all down to operator error in terms of an adequate cleaning regime. But then not everything on the bike can be kept completely up together and after all, they are meant to be used
These are the marks I’ve got on this one, and similar to on my last extender. It doesn’t make contact with anything. Anyone else getting the same?
This came fitted on mine when I bought it - It appears to be a flat plastic shape stuck behind the rear mudguard, simple but effective. (and cheap lol) It is level BTW, it's the angle making it look a bit odd
