Discussion in 'Lounge' started by El Toro, Oct 22, 2013.

  1. Lawnmower Man
    Jacob's Ladder

  2. Le chien andalou.

  3. Agreed. The definitive nonsensical film.

  4. Anyone remember Dark Star?

Fascinating but really rather odd at the same time.

  8. The Grifters. There's no proper ending to it, it just stops...

  9. dunno but the acting was awful :p

  10. It runs backwards. If you see it, you'll understand. Cracking movie, but you have to pay attention :upyeah:

  11. ?? Did you understand any of those Lamont? Okay Brazil is a bit weird, but make sure you haven't just seen the 'love conquers all' edit, thats just shit.
The Fisher King is a great film, excellently made and deals with its subject matter with great tenderness
and Twelve Monkeys has the bloke the played the Riddler in the 60s Batman and has Bruce Willis dribbling on the floor. Whats not to like?

  12. Made perfect sense. One of the few time travel films that works.

  13. Yeah. Cowboys & Aliens... What is the point?... Total bollox!

  14. twelve monkeys great film

when watched 3 or 4 times when drunk then I got it lol

  15. I didn't say I didn't enjoy them all, apart from Brazil. Fisher King and Twelve Monkeys were great. I just didn't understand them. Mind you I still think Chariots of Fire is about running.

  16. The Adjustment Bureau, what was that all about

  17. An accountant's wet dream.

  18. I think Chariots of Fire was absolute rubbish - just complete incoherent nonsense from beginning to end.

  19. "This is the end" - utter self-indulgent bo**ocks ! Written by, starring, directed by and generally an advert for Seth Rogen... Total drivel !
