All sorted. Charing at 14.4v but the fix is a very good temporary affair. Is there any upgrades available that people have fitted?
You can fit a later shindengen reg/rec. Triumph even do a adapter loom that is plug and play. I personally went with a Shindengen copy and replaced the wires from the stator with new, thicker ones directly to the reg/rec. Then modified the loom on the charging side so suit the new reg/rec. Short video what that looks like on my bike.
Thank you, sounds like a winter job, I’ve made a good repair and think I’ll do the upgrade to make sure of hopefully no future problem's
