  1. No excuses, once a predatory paedophile always one. As for people saying once he has paid his debt to society thats effectively justice. Well its not, its not justice for the victim of a paedopliles pervesions who has to live with the consequences.

  2. I have a couple of friends who are in their 40's who have met girls who were 19-22.
One of them met on the internet in XBOX live playing COD.
Both have married them several years ago after a couple of years courtship and one has a couple of kids and are very happy. Age difference shouldn't matter.

But there is a great deal of difference between a 20 year old woman and a 15/16 year old girl.
I know some will say that people have variations in maturity, but come on.
I like I am sure most men find young women attractive, but GIRLS. I'm sorry, my instinct is to look out for them not have sex with them.

IF (and thats a big if) he genuinely made a mistake having sex with underage girls at a party and was jailed for it then he should learnt to go no where near young girls. Lesson learnt.
The fact that he went after 'jail bait' makes me think that the first incident was no mistake.

All my senses tell me this guy is a disgusting predator. The jail term should be double for a second offence (although he didn't actually have sex with a minor the second time).
He obviously didn't learn from the first offence, where after he was released assumingly but obviously not repentant.

Sex register, err no. Tattoo his forehead before his next release to warn young girls in the future.
If some people can forgive and be his friend, it takes all sorts, your choice. He can still fix your bikes with a tattoo!

  4. Just not nice :mad::frown:

  5. To be clear I fully disagree with what David did and fact he got punished before harm was done is a good news. Do not want anyone here to get impression I think otherwise.

What however does shock me is how quickly people right someone off. Ffs there are 70y old's dating and having sex with 18y old's. Hugh Haffner comes to mind as prominent example, age gap between him and most of his "bunnies" is much bigger then that of David. Yet that seems to be ok, few famous actors about in same situation. Most older richer folk that have mistresses also aim at very young girls, maybe not as young but still 19y, 20y vs 60y is still wrong in my book. That is fine, they are "lucky" they are ok to do it because they have money, power or fame?

People who go for such young sex partners are not wired right as it was mentioned. Unlike alcoholism or drug addiction it is not by choice. Yet there is plenty of mercy for druggies or drunks even if they commit murder or rape and reoffend number of times. They were under influence so not in full control and such.

I must stress again I fully disagree with police tactics or what Nog did. Sorry but David is sick and they knew that due to previous conviction. Yet they still entrapped him. For all we know now, as no other allegations emerged, he was in full control of his problem till that girl showed up and police took over.
It is the same like giving recovering alcoholic alcohol or recovering drug addict a fully loaded syringe but that seems to be despised.

  6. Luca you may feel differently if you had a young daughter.

  7. Last night I felt like I was turning my back on a friend and I like to think that people can turn around but this is the second time and actually I'm cross and angry that he has put me in the position of having to make that decision as I like to stand by my friends in times of need
This is unforgivable and knowing I had a daughter he should have given me the decency to make a choice of being his friend
I cannot and won't be his friend in the future
If he can convince me he is a good guy what hope does a young girl have

  8. That is without a doubt correct and I do not and will not condemn (right word?) anyone who feels they need to end all contacts.

What I am trying to say is never burn all bridges down as you never know.

A druggi killing a family member of mine would no doubt raise similar feelings to what you have now. However general public would still be happy to give such drug addict many more chances to get their life together of he ever comes out of jail. Slightly double standard it feels to me.

  9. Andy - sorry but i disagree with you on whether it is "helpful or not" - I knew Nog reasonably well - I've been to his house in the past - and I had absolutely no idea that any of this was going on. I have a teenage daughter. As a parent my absolute duty is to protect my children - had I not seen this thread I would have been unaware of the situation. So actually, I think it is very helpful for EVERY SINGLE PARENT OUT THERE. Quite frankly, I feel sick to the stomach.

  10. Difference here is Hugh doesn't sit on the internet coaxing young girls into sex then jump in his van and drive half way across the country with a matress in the back! Doesn't that sound off any alarm bells???!?!?!

Drug users don't tend to inflict any harm on anyone else other than themselves in most circumstances (obvious friend and relatives aside), this is a completely different kettle of fish

  11. Luca double standards are
It was not ok for the teacher to run away with a 15 year old but because my 'friend' groomed a 15 year old that's ok?

Where children are concerned we have a duty to protect them and if that means taking them off our friends list to protect our children then so be it.

Other than bikes and racing I have no bridges to burn.

  12. If this is true then I am deeply shocked, if not then its a very sick joke.

The last info I had on NOG was that he was in Australia now maybe I'm being foolish but until I see some real evidence or hear a defence from NOG then I'm inclined not to believe.

I'm with Andyb on this it should be taken down please Rob, at least until it it properly substantiated, innocent until proven etc etc.

  13. What I can't comprehend is why a 54 year old would be interested in females of that age or below..............

......I'm older than Nog and I wouldn't look at a woman under the age of 30 (sorry Ducbird and Hellcat, you are out of luck.......).....

I suppose it's all well and good if a 16 to 17 year old male gets involved with a fifteen year old despite the law; but FFS in Nogs case there is nearly a 40 year age difference......

......and it's no good Freddie Starr moaning.....look at the age difference between him and his wife......I think thats about 20 years, so converting the same ratio to a 15 year old female that would put the male at 35........

I met Nog on several occasions and he helped me out a couple of times.......never had an inkling of his deviant practices, but I did think he was full of bullsh*t and innuendo.........

When I was first told about it by a close relative in Plod, I didn't think it was the same bloke..........still, it goes to show you never really know someone....

As an aside issue, surely Plod have broken the law by 'sending' indecent images to people they wanted to entrap?

  14. No it is not ok both are or will be punished those are the facts.

Unless they get in to a car and do not see a difference between sidewalk and road or try and rob someone with a knife. There is many ways they can f your life up even if you do not know them.

  15. Daft Bugger Dave. Enough said.

  16. True, but this was premeditated, planned and conceived, a drug user or alcoholic driving a car and hitting someone for example probably isn't in control of all of their senses.

  17. Read Post No.30

  18. I get all that and it's all pretty sordid.

I'm just interested in what happens next. Does the girl he is grooming know his age? Is she keen on the idea of having sex with some bloke she's never met? Or is the implication that the next thing that happens is that she is bundled into a van and raped? How consensual is the whole affair meant to be?

I'm not trying to suggest that if it were, this makes it OK.
I am trying to suggest that it is hard to see how a girl would be traumatised for life IF she had deliberately set out to have sex with some stranger who could be her father.

it's all somewhat bizarre and tasteless.

  19. yeah so much so that he put a mattress in his van and drove from Suffolk to meet her ???? I can see the innocent sense in that!!!! obviously the girl didn't have her own place then , absolutely normal behaviour that ........everytime i ever met up with emm ive always chucked a mattress in the back ????? WTF , JUST TURNED UP???? ......I don't think so , clearly the coppers were building a case ....." yeah lets go get Davey again eh , send in the jailbait" !!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!.................UTTER BOLLOCKS

  20. I thought long and hard about this. As soon as I saw the thread (on my mobile) I literally rushed home to check it out on the computer as I was going to remove it as it looked very questionable. From all accounts though, from the press to people who know him, it looks like it is the same person. If there is a mistake then I have made a huge error in judgement.
