Wow I would have thought changing the pads would give it the bite it needs? Someone on here has suggested Brembo Z04s as a good change but I need to do some more investigating. In other news I am currently testing the new Triumph Street Triple RS to use as my main road bike plus occasional track and the stoppers are Brembo M50 calipers and man they bite. I wish I could get them on the 959 as I feel the weak brakes are changing my normal braking points on track and thus changing the corner speed I would like to carry. Also fitting the spacers too as I don't like the twitchy throttle which is difficult to maintain in corners.
I'll be getting bendix mcr for mine at some point. The brakes do bite hard but there is something not quite right. Maybe something to do with Abs?
I put the sintered ones on mine, but the biggest problem on track was the ABS, which is very subtle in its action, yet can massively extend your braking. Turn it off or put it on the lowest setting and see if that feels better first... it did on mine.
