  9. Its weird because I don't have the bike yet but already payed half, I have gone through all the stages of regret, buyers remorse etc, more severe than other times, guess its due to the price and I still have not tried it, but i'm getting excited for next week, and scared lol, its a mix of both, the bikes looks mental, to be honest I would have been happy with a 959, but i really wanted the SSSA and the color LCD and the up and down quickshift basically a V2 but they are too much dough, convincing my wife after just having a girl 3 months ago to buy a bike and spend 12k on it was one year in the making, imagine more than that. lol

  10. Agree with all that! I too had never spent that much on a 'toy!' Previous bikes were Aprilia RSV4's, a 2010 in white, and a Factory 2013 with Ohlins massaged by MCT which made it even better! The base 1299 is not only Beauty, but a savage Beast. The suspension felt a bit like I was bouncing off the hedges on both sides of the road. Another £2500 later it's much better!! 15. Oh, my daze....good on you...
I'm loving the Pani, for me though, I had to go for the little sister 1198, and like you, I've bought mine sight unseen and hoping for the best when it gets delivered in 2 weeks.
    Nail-biting stuff

  18. I'm on my second ducati ..I tend not to have a great choice of what I get ... in fact it's all the wrong way round last year had a 1199 pan .... this year I'm on a little 749 bip never the less I love Ducati's... I'm an old bastard of 45 and been riding for 25 years ... .. always had jap bikes ... 4 blades, 2 vtr sp1, 3 gsxr 1000..... suzuki tl 1000, ... sadly I can keep going with the list of bikes .... because I'm old ... but genuinely I feel at home on a ducati after 25 years making my mind up... even a little tiddler like the 749 ... be sure to take care on that 1299 ... that's a real weapon... 205 horses ... enjoy ..

  19. There as lot on here who would love to be 45 ,me included ! There is no old bastards on here, only appreciating classics :)

  20. Hi guys, quick update on my Bike, after 3 months and almost 600 miles I had to trade the Bike in, I work in IT and last year had a mild case of Tendinites, and unfortunately they came back probably because of the Panigale, and I like riding with my mates all day we do 200-300 miles once a month or so, after 1 hour it gets so bad I have to stop every 15 - 20 minutes, so I traded the bike in to Pro Twins Ducati, they gave me a real good trade in price and I am now waiting for my Streetfighter V4.
