  2. Update on this:

I've texted the guy from MHP Exhausts how much will it cost me to do a silencer for those termis and i've got this

    2x aluminium silencers £380
    2x titanium silencers £730

    Wait, what??

I would like to thank @990Glen for giving me the link from BR special tunning

    £120 in stock arriving tomorrow

    That's a BIG difference!

I'll fit them tomorrow and see the difference and I'll let you guys know

    Cheers

  3. Think you have been given silencer/can prices from mhp and db killers from BR.

  4. I've specified I need DB killers, and he specified in the text that price is for silencer - not with can included

    hence i was shocked lol

  5. Somewhere there has been a breakdown in comms, those MHP prices are for cans, not baffles, Mark at MHP isn't a crook.

  6. 100% as price wise sounds like can not DB, you guys that know him know best, must've been some comm issue but anyway, got them ordered and they arrived here

so I'll be able to take it to the track :)

  7. Get yourself to Spain, no noise police at Almeria or Cartagena and it's usually warmer. Andy

  8. just picking up on peoples comments about the pipes being legal as BSB use them. BSB get different allowance for noise than a trackday does, they use up their limited allocation of 'very noisy' days which also includes disruption to traffic and local event policing for BSB so can't be compared.

You DEFINITELY need baffles. No question, those pipes will be loud, the only saving grace is that the measure 45cm away from the exhaust exit which will be up high and so they won't suffer from resonance from the floor like the belly cans do.

Otherwise, use road tyres as you suggest, warm them up and build slowly through the day. a written off bike in session one will teach you nothing...

  9. Thanks mate for the advice, the good thing is that the baffles are now at home, i'll take it slowly and easy, eyes, ears and mind open to learn

Like you said, because they are underseat exhaust i'll be good with baffles to ride on track

    Happy man!

  10. Wasn't meant to be taken seriously..
