I think I can lay my hands on a similar engine, well and truly buried though. As a teenager I had a great ride on a BSA wingwheel equipped bicycle owned by my cousin, it was surprisingly torquey, the front wheel used to raise by accident if you happened to be leaning backwards.

Watched the Bike Show on youtube a couple of weeks ago where he was riding the 1100. He absolutely loved it,enough so he wanted too buy it. Unfortunately the dealer had already agreed to sell. Would like one myself in the future to compliment the 950.
