  7. 1.Cyclemotor similar to picture below bought for 10shillings from a junk shop when aged 13[IMG]
My mate fell off it and bent the crank.
Honda C50 step thru - going through the Hanger lane Underpass a pallet dropped off the tailboard of a lorry right in front of me which kind of ruined my day and the bike.
Honda C90 OHV earls forks model after a year of un-merciless thrashing I ran it low on oil and ran the big end.
1948 G80 Matchless rigid rear end - bought for £10 after standing for 10 years under an apple tree, fresh fuel and it started third kick - loved that bike
Triton 650 Bonneville pre unit with RRT2 BSA Gold Star box and Triumph clutch bought from Steve Machin in Louth for £175 - went racing on it in 1971

  8. That’s most disrespectful of you Derek! :)

Btw you may have seen he should be getting a Spitfire fly past on his birthday, I kicked that off, I even contributed a tenner to his 23 million (most unlike me but credit where credits due!).

  15. I think I can lay my hands on a similar engine, well and truly buried though.
As a teenager I had a great ride on a BSA wingwheel equipped bicycle owned by my cousin, it was surprisingly torquey, the front wheel used to raise by accident if you happened to be leaning backwards.
