Quite a lot of people hung up on where things are made. I think it's absolutely a problem if a brand trades on being British and hides where it makes things, but if they are absolutely open about it then who cares. I work in an industry where we heavily rely on outsource partners all over the globe, done properly your supply chain is there to ensure the minimum standards set are adhered to consistently. I'm not teaching anyone to suck eggs here but I don't think the fact that (for example) Alpinestars is an Italian brand who makes a lot of their kit in Vietnam is a secret, and clearly it's not affecting their quality having seen mates crash in Alpinestars leathers recently.
