V4 First Panigales V4 On The Road And 'plated'

Moto Rapido have just posted on FB that their open day is this Saturday, 13th. Andy

 

When will get to freeze our bollox off with a demo? Can they arrange demo rides in local gym or something?

 

If dealers follow the running in regime, which I expect, then anything upwards of what, 2, 3 or even 4 weeks depending on where you are in the country and how often they can get out on the bike. Would have thought end of the month maybe. Andy

 

Obviously not quiiiiiiite as gutsy from no revs as my 1098R, but faaaaar smoother and easier to modulate than the 1299, especially rolling the throttle on in bends. Up Hafeet I was riding the V4 with a mate on the 1299 and he’s usually a lot quicker, but he couldn’t stay with me either up or down hill. Where the 1299 was constantly flashing its TC or getting sketchy if you turned it off, the V4 just put the power down and disappeared.

It’s the first bike I’ve ever ridden that’s made me contemplate selling the 1098 and I LOVE that bike

 

Don’t care if I can only ride one bike at a time, if the V4 is that good, I’ll keep both . Andy

there is a ducati dealer in dublin (Rosso Ducati) and another in Ballymoney (Millsport) in Northern Ireland. not many second hand ones floating about but i may sell my 1098 if the V4 is as good as i hear?!

So for those of you heading for Moto Rapido on Saturday, the will be a V4S on display without fairings and one fully dressed. I also learnt this morning that the press launch is 21st January and dealers have been asked not to offer test rides until after that. Andy

 

Local dealer in Norfolk doesnt have one AFAIK. Lots of pics of the fairing less bike if you will Andy.

Sorry for the slow riding. In my defense he was standing on the worst corner on the entire 14km run up the mountain
