No but then I didnt when I put it back to standard and the noise is definatley not there when the plates are in as normal?
I left one plain metal plate out I might put that back in mid pack plain to plain and see if its the spacing being too tight and pushing the bearing when it heats up? What do you think
I'd be surprised if that bearing is worn after 6000 miles but it's impossible to diagnose without hearing/seeing it.
Thats it, so all plates back in but start with a fibre plate, then double plain metal back to back in the middle of the pack then double at the end no noise no whine and the clutch works fine happy days, cheers for the help lads much better not sounding like an old diesel
