looking good, @Phykell. once you get it sorted, you could think about removing the exhaust valve. saves a bit of weight but makes them termis sound even better at lower revs!
Will do. You'd need a different map for that. But I think it's worth it. At least it is on my non evo.
The Lambdas are disabled in the DP ECU, they can be removed without any MIL's on the dash. On a stock ECU they can be disabled, removed and the fuel trim set using diagnostic kit (like JPDiag)
So I can do away with the lambda sensor then? But where do I get the blanking plugs and what about the exhaust servo - is there a guide anywhere on what to do, etc.?
Your ECU can be re flashed to remove a number of things including the lambdas and EXBV. The exhaust headers can be plugged with something like this Exhaust Lambda Sensor Blanking Nut, Bolt, Plug M18 x 1.5 | eBay The EXBV motor and cables can also be removed. If you want more info PM me.
...yep did mine last chrimbo when the weather was crap, you need two leads a laptop, there's a very helpful chap on this forum who will send you the settings. A bit late a night for me to think right now
