Truly awful scenes. Hope this cold snap over the next few days doesn't compound the situation too much :frown:
Looks like I've got away with it this time; after 2001 they said it would never flood here again, so perhaps they're right. Mind you, after seeing that news reel perhaps I shouldn't moan; my house had about 6" of water in it, and the water seeped up through the floor so it was pretty clean. It also came up pretty slowly so I was able to move most things out of harm's way. The garage was a different story though, there was about 3' of water in there:frown:
