It was the first slip on Akra released for the V4. I don't think anybody on earth bought one so they released a new one that looks like the full system. Probably got the 500 for a nice discount!

NOPE and not going to, I still think my 748 is one of the best looking bikes out there

 

Always had a soft-spot for a 748, it was my first Ducati......feeling old.
