What I know is you can't manufacture increased future value on purpose as it starts to dilute the market - blinged up lesser models than the R will always be seen as such, a V4 from 25 years on with foggy eyes will never be a Foggy SPS - and for Ducati to already be charging for that perceived future value is quite frankly appalling - but good business sense if there are people wanting to throw their money away
Agree with you on the non SPS/pricing spec thing,but this is a commodity like a rolex watch for example,that is only for the very rich people in society to trade with & this will dictate the values over the coming decades
