When i say fun to ride i mean on the road (i never tracked mine and im sure the 1199 would be much more useful/fun there). I used to commute on mine every day of the year, ride at weekends and also rode it down to valencia and back (and iom tt). Did 30k on it in just under 2 years. Handled everything i threw at it brilliantly and if i buy another sportsbike i think i will go back to one.
