For Sale Ducati Multistrada Gel Seat for a model other than 1200. Looks very new, but has a slight rip in the front. Photo's to follow. I recently purchased from Ebay for £70, but it looks like I might be stuck with it. It was advertised as GEL SEAT for Multistrada 1200S, but isn't. Probably worth the £70 if you need one for your 1000 or 1100 (that's me guessing). Once the photo's are up can someone please confirm if I've guessed the right model? Just want my money back, so £70 plus whatever shipping or collect from home near Hatton Cross (Heathrow).
Ebays distance seller policy is that you can send it back within 14 days of it being delivered in any case, just state not as described.
Thanks for the advice, but I'm well versed in ebay. Hence sometimes it's easier to move things on than return.. The seller is in single figures and not communicating. It's a good seat, just not for my bike.

Hi guys sadly gonna sell my Multi i can get on with a V-Twin been so use to triples, was going to get her remapped but i think deep down my minds made up so she is a 62 Multi 1200s touring,R&G rad guard, Scottoiler E-System Ali Sump guard, Head Guard and a Termi Stubby slip on can and only done 900 miles. Now i have been given a price on trade in so if anyone wants to make me a sensible offer please let me know i will be going to the dealers at the weekend cheers guys.
Welderman, sorry to hear about your decission. I have just gone the exact opposite way - coming from a Triple (although, last year i had a Dorsoduro - and never got familiar with a triple) Now i'm on a Multi '12 and looooooove it. You'll be taking a big hit on the price, and i can only advise to sell the extras on the side to get some of the money back; thats what happened with my STR. Triump dealer even laughed at me, when i asked him, if he wasn't going to give anything for all my extra (worth 1300) and just replied "No, they are no use for us!" So much for that! Any way, good luck with finding a great machine - all you need is to get a big smile back
I was going to have the remap but you know when you get that bit of disappointment in your head its hard to remove so yes i was going to originally get the explorer but fell in love with the italian looks, i had the 1050 Tiger befor and love the triple so i will be going back to Triumph.
Hi Glen, sad to hear your not getting on with your Mutley (still gut your cylinder head guard on mine ) definitely sell your accesories separately. When I sold my triple to buy the Mutley the ducati dealer wasn't interested in any of the bits either, so I put the bike back to standard and sold all the bits on the triumph forum for nearly what I originally paid.....
