We had an annual policy with LV which did cover motorcycle trips over 125cc ( I made sure I had a record of them confirming it on the phone). However following a claim for having my gall bladder removed last year just before we were supposed to got to Costa Rica the quote shot up. I’ve now got an add on to my Barclays Bank account, this also covers motorcycle trips, it’s only £17 a month and I had to declare the medical stuff and pay a one off premium. Although once you’ve had your gall bladder out I don’t really understand why the policy should increase, it’s not like they can remove it again!.
