For the engine you can use the manual for the Hypermotard 939 and the manual for the Monster 1200 will cover many of the cycle parts, both of which are freely available.

So from what I have read we will not be able to obtain manuals for new bikes going forward? I am also after one for my 2022 SFV4. If this is the case then it will be a real shame!

 

Ducati only provide, and have for a while now, provided Workshop Manuals in electronic format - so the owner of a new bike does not obtain ownership of a Manual but can access it if you have a sympathetic dealer.

They are endeavouring to make maintenance (except the most basic) something that can only be carried out at a dealership.

 

That's what I suspected, thanks. After a couple of years somebody usually get's hold of one though!
