  5. Good luck to you both for a full and speedy recovery.

How many miles had you done on the Enduro? enough to write a mini review of it from a "real-world" perspective?

    Pete

  6. God it sounds horrific! All the best to you and the wife for a speedy recovery.

  7. 2,000 miles. I think I could write one When I get back on the road it would be my first choice again.

  8. Bike insurance company seems to be doing well and moving ahead. However, the travel insurance company seems to clearly have their bottom line in mind. They will not start organising repatriations until they have seen the police report to make sure that we were not doing anything that endangered our lives. If we were then they are off the hook for covering any of the expenses. We have told them repeatedly that they are the ones that have to get the police report we cannot do it, this has been backed up by other forum members and also my colleagues in the French office. 24 hours they've wasted and they still haven't got the message. What's also frustrating is that they say they will phone us back with updates and yet we have to call them once every 12 hours to find out what's going on.
The garage should be sending me some photos of the bike which I'll post here of course as I'm sure we are all keen to see how the Enduro handled a head on smash. ( I like to go the extra mile on my road tests )
