The least about winning another race will you be disappointed. Also so what they were off the game that is 40% success now.
Just watched moto 3 full race and 10 min highlight of MM being sublime. M3 was fantastic! What a race! Hard fair racing. JL head gone. Either Honda ride, change in rules or he's off
whatever the bike, H or Y , the kid rides in a leaugue of his own... and carries so much race instinct anf maturity he just sticks it to the whole fleet... wold love to see him on a pani WSBK... show what the bike can really do...
Are we all bored yet? I thought I would miss watching GP, but with no one being able to compete with MM, what's the point?
for me the point is watching MM, and seeing how he copes psychologically at being so good, and with no one really to push and benchmark him. What or how will bring him down/back, or the others catch up. And therefore also watching the others and how they react/cope - JL being a case in point, seems to be a touch off the boil/lost. Is it all down to the machinery? Bit like golf and tiger woods, in his heyday, the others (seemed to) turn up and play for second place. That in itself is a fascinating battle, watching 'top' sports stars deal with competitive adversity. sometimes, for me, sport is not about the crash bang of fairings, chucking or golf clubs or thwack of leather on cricket balls, but how the individuals cope, build themselves back up and compete, or not. its what sometimes defines a sportsman, that stands out in his generation - sheer dominance, both technically, and psychologically of his sport, peers and media. The last england ashes 'battle' ( i use the term loosely) was amusing/fascinating from many aspects. new zealand rugby at the top for so long, are/were they frightened of losing, or confident of winning, every time - its a fine line to manage and play along. thats just me of course, others watch for their own reason.
Last season he was all smiles at the camera and acknowledging the tv viewers, this year he is all sunglasses and Lorenzo-like.
Well the main problem for Jorge at the moment isn't Marquez - who appears to be out of his league - but the resurgence of Valentino. He is consistently losing to his team mate on the same bike - that is never guaranteed to put you in a good mood - especially as Rossi is vastly more popular. I have to admit, that until the Ducatis look as if they might win a race fair and square, or at least be able to occupy the second two positions, MotoGP is less interesting for me than it might be. As for Marquez, I don't think he will get bored of winning. That sort of psychology is really only interested in winning. And there are all sorts of records available for him to smash. He has also got a long way to go before being able to eclipse Rossi's trophy haul, or to match Agostini's record.
