1200 Front Paddock Stand For Ohlins Type Forks

I use the two finger prong type on my 1198S. I have modified the fingers by taping some hose pipe round them to give extra height so the front axle can be removed.

 

I got a pro bike two pronger you can have for £50 inc postage.

 

headstock lift stand is a good option if you have a hole in your bottom yoke

 

I lift my 999 with an under headstock stand. The bottom yoke has no hole for the spigot so I remove the spigot and put the locking pin back. Get the top arm in place under the bottom yoke and put a thin ratchet strap through the holes in the top yoke and loop it under the top arm of the stand. That holds it parallel to the bottom yoke and secure as I put the stand up.

 

Can't speak for all types but my Probike headstock stand certainly lifts the Multi front far enough off the floor.

Hi, looking for a front lift for multi.Does this stand lift far enough for front wheel removal ?
