1260 Front Preload

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Steelboss, May 18, 2020.

  1. Does anyone have a recommendation for adjusting the front preload ‘nuts’ at the top of the Ohlins forks without marking them? I’ve been told they’re like cheese and you have to tape them to stop the socket marking the blue anodised coating. That makes me think you’d have to have a poorly fitting socket to accommodate the tape thickness which could simply exasperate the problem of moving against the surface and causing marks o_O

  3. The silver plastic foil off a bravita bar works perfectly between a socket and the nut.
