The good news: -The front sprocket moves on the shaft -It has the plate fitted to it at the back, so looks correct for my bike -I've ordered the bits I need to fix it, and give it a light service as well * I am heavy handed, but in my defence, the chains were a bit rusty. Beware with replacement gearbox sprockets. They come with different offsets depending on what model they are for.
