CALCUL what???? To be honest first I have a look on the donor bike weight and compare with the project bike! But once finished I test drive and make valuation if I need revalve the fork or change springs. The same happen with the rear swing and suspension, at the rear the rule is maintain the geometry from the donor bike in al linkage. As the Ducati engine didn’t look “in place” I have been giving a shot with the soda blaster at the FZ engine before I open it up, This way everything is much more cleaner to work with. Im hopefully I’m available to find a FZR1000 engine, this way I can use the upper part from the 1000cc and the lower part from the 750cc making a 1000cc engine with a 6 speed gear box.
