For Sale Gaging Interest 02 748r

I'd run out of garage space before then...
I might blow my wad looking at that beauty....
It's a little North of my target price for an 748R (there's one on ebay for £8K and another in a dealer for £9500), but that said
"it's a lovely bike. and it's the right colour."
Since I've this 748 racing thing... I'd really like to replace the 998S with a 998R
Perhaps it's time to move the standard 748 and 749 on?

 

They don't come up often that good..

 

Just to correct the fantasy that is my bargaining position....
the last four Ducati's purchased from this forum are sitting in my garage having paid EXACTLY what the opening asking price was!

 

If I didn't have a 748 and 748 Racing sitting here I'd be sending a PM immediately.

its a 997.1 clubbie with ceramics. did a 200m plus round trip to take it out of storage and drive it 20m

its epic

 

997.1 C2S was good fun but the running costs can be as hair-raising as the Lancia... 997.2 seemed to have overcome some of the electrical gremlins of the .1 but I was still ever-fearful of it grenading itself. It was My daily and we had some good adventures...

Ah yes, but the car is going up in value every year - the most stunning colour - I had a 16v Integrale and always hankered after an EVO - should have taken the plunge.
