Short update: At the German Forum we have designed adjustable Holders for the Zumo 3er Serie, for the Zumo 5er Series, for the TOM TOM Rider V4 and for the TOM TOM 400. You could mount it on the handlebar bridge. It works well and it is stable. Look at the pictures attached:
