where do you think this is - Boxhill? An excellent day out, good to see Hugh, Paul and Peter and finally got to meet Andy/Android and Richard/Expat Jack. Good talking to anonymous Paul and Duncs and TonyC. Sorry forgot @RickyX - Thank you for the cup of coffee! Thanks for the refreshments @Pete1950 , very kind of you.
Great day out. Good to see old and new faces. Rode back with @Chris and we only got lost twice.. Ended up in a godawful place, a bit like we imagined hell to be like. The R is filthy but behaved impeccably in the occasional lashing rain. I think Chris had just secretly sold my bike here..
Good to see everyone, some nice bikes too. Always nice to chat to those from previous occasions, and new people too. Hope everyone got home ok. Dry event for most? Quick shower here gone 3pm.
"Ended up in a godawful place, a bit like we imagined hell to be like." Kingsbrook nr Aylesbury. met some locals, seemed ok.
I think they could be done by the Advertising Standards Agency - I did not see any “super” sausages...no organic bratwurst or locally sourced butifarra or chistorra on hand leavened rye sourdough with Norfolk butter beans...
Was a nice ride there and a wet ride back, which validated choice of MTS as steed for the day... good chatting with @BabyD (thanks for the plug!) and @Sam1199 and a few other folks I didn’t manage to get the names of (I’m hopeless). Some lovely bikes there!
@RC1 i followed you in to the car park but as it wasn’t raining I didn’t need to cosy up with Fido Next time I’ll come and say hello.
you really should have because i left her with some friends because i didnt want you squeezing her into the glovebox!
My wife and I popped over on the dull Honda and had a nice chat to the big-ish Lebrowski and admired his lovely F1. Saw the MHR, a cool unrestored S2 and a really nice 900ss. 748 passed us heading south and nice 749/999 ( Afraid I lost track of the newer models when they became more than double my budget). The Elephants made me blanch at the thought of riding them deep into the Sahara! Hopefully on the custard 888 next time, but maybe an 851/888 made it there today, anyway. Rather lacking in bins, I was expecting all the forum people to be grouped around a colourful display.
