would be good to put names to faces in top pic - 4th from the left looks familiar - is that "Ghost"? (forgotten name).
It's in my diary, but two hours of motorway isn't the most exciting of rides, let alone on a 600ss. I'll see.
First pic Is Phil (ghostie) @michel couque is there as is the late Steve Haresign and Dazz is there not sure of the others
You ole’ boys may not be aware that this event started on the Ducatisti.com forum that Dan ran and was initially only intended for SSs, carby and injected ones hence the proliferation of them in the photos.
hi guys, where is the meet planned. Quick google shows Northants? would love to come along on the superlight
Super sausage cafe, NN12 7QD. Be good to have the opportunity of a closer look at your bike - it looks great!
I was going to suggest aiming for noon. I hope to get meeting details posted into the 'event' sections of some Ducati regional facebook pages in the coming week. Cheers Richard
I was at the Super Sausage a couple of weekends ago (the TT burger was excellent), and at that point it was closing at 2pm on Saturdays (not sure about other days), so please check this works with your plans.
sounds like the earlier the better then, out of interest, what time did you get food and how easy was it?
I see what you mean opening hours 07:00 - 14:30! Bearing in mind that we don't who is coming from where, would a 10:30/11:00 arrival be a bit too extreme?
Not at all, for this attendee anyway, i usually aim for opening time if it’s a lovely day and I’ve not been disappointed yet.
Got there about midday day, it was fairly busy but still plenty of places to sit etc. There was a well organised queuing system for food at about that time, queued about 5-10 mins, food came out pretty promptly afterwards. Soon after that time the queue dissipated and we could go straight up for more tea - so I think midday was the rush hour.
