Just lack of posts really, it had busy times and quiet times but really quiet recently so could not stand looking at the site day in day out with no movement!
I think cal is far better off staying where he is than committing career suicide and moving to ducati but don't think there's chance of him getting a factory ride anywhere else. In my opinion there's six bikes capable of winning a race, that's the factory Hondas and all the yamaha's let's hope he can get a win soon. Any predictions for Laguna? I'm backing rossi again i hope I don't lose another 50p to Matt
Trouble is it sounds like his seat has gone at Tech3, so he may have no choice. I'd rather see him on Bradl's bike than on a Ducati.
Bradls is full factory isn't it? To be honest he's not setting the world alight but then again he's young and not been doing that bad, a few 6th places, 5th and a 4th I think? hes bound to keep the ride though, he's German, big marketing opportunity....
What about Bautista's bike then? I believe it's well supported by the factory, but has Showa rather than Ohlins, or something like that. Still finishing ahead of the red bikes...
And I don't think Bautista has done himself any favours this year hopefully that will be Scott Redding's new bike.
Yep Scott seems to be lining up for that one. 3 brits in MGP and 3 in the top 10? Plus more of the same WSBK...where will it all end
I'm rather hoping Redding will win the moto2 title and step straight on a works motogp bike. Can't see it happening tho'
Alas he will never win when Lorenzo is riding unless he sorts his starts. You cant give Lori 2 secs in first few laps, you will never get it back
I'm wondering just how short of a factory bike Cal's bike now is. It doesn't seem to lose out much to the factory bikes. He passed Rossi and made it stick and was running the same times as Marquez or better. Who knows what kit has been finding its way into the Tech 3 garage of late.
I reckon its almost there, but the more he beats them the wider that gap will become and Rossi showed again why he is so liked. The way he congratulated a satellite rider for beating him and gave him all the credit he needed was great. Something Stoner Lorenzo and plenty of others could learn from...yet he is still the 'racer' he has always been when it comes to a scrap
My opinion of Rossi (which was always pretty good, although I've never liked his mind games) certainly rose after seeing those interviews with MCN he gave that someone on here posted recently. He really does seem like a nice bloke, which is all you ever hear from those who work with him. Maybe he should be borrowing Scott Redding's "Want It" sign, though.
I've got £50 on Cal winning at Silverstone And I reckon,(but wouldn't put money on it!): Rossi will retire at the end of the season Bradley Smith will get dropped from Tech3 Espargaro and Cal will get either one of the vacant Yamaha rides
Cal's bike has a full factory engine (or so Spalders reckoned a few races back), dunno about the chassis but Guy Coulon is no mug when it comes to setting up a race bike. It's not far off, that's for sure, but it still ain't the full fat factory bike he deserves about now. And I find it odd that people are surprised by Rossi's warm reception to Crutchlow. Crutchlow, despite appearances, is obviously a well-liked rider in the motogp paddock, and Rossi has never been the type of guy to cock a snoot at other riders, even when they're in direct competition with him. Much was made of the wall between Rossi and Lorenzo last time they were team mates, but I'll bet the initial impetus for that wall was set by Lorenzo. Rossi doesn't have a record of hating his fellow racers.
