Luckily, they had a strategic road cone, carefully placed in the background to deter jihadist terrorists from deciding they were at a prime target. See picture for this key defence item. A good run out, some drizzle in the first 20 miles or so that suddenly gave way to sunnier weather and dry roads which stayed all day apart from the last section homeward which wasn't too bad after a long ride. I probably did 200 miles in the day. The locals near the station are not right. By that I mean, drinking the local water and eating shrimp caught near the discharge pipe from Dungeness B shouldn't be in your five a day.
