Yes had misting problems when I had the camera in the waterproof mount when moving from warm to colder conditions in the Alps, valley was 30 c and tops of the mountains only about 5c. The only way I could fix it was using the open back to the waterproof case, but that's not much good if it's pissing it down or you are using it for water sports.
this is an excellent point, but i wonder what the legal position is? After all, its a private recording...Mr.Plod would have to have a strong cause for using it as 'evidence' and i suspect that the law would require some sort of formal request...and then probably the recording would be lost or damaged...as so often unfortunately happens when the police are required to furnish the courts or the accused of such evidence.
Usual disclaimers I am not a lawyer etc but Plod can gather evidence if investigating an offence. Destruction of evidence to cover up an offence is serious shit, way beyond £60 and 3 points (conspiracy to pervert the course of justice ?). So on it's own a video is unlikely to be examined but if it is in association with any other possible offence it can and may be used against you.
I can't remember if it was on here or the 'old' site but this came up. Think I've seen it in a bike mag too.... I believe, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that if the plod stop you for say dangerous riding and you have a camera fitted they can confiscate it to review the footage, for evidential purposes. The same applies to phones if they want to search the records to prove if you were using it whilst driving. matt
