899 Goodbye 1199...hello 899

  1. Never noticed before that the drive side fairing lower is slightly different from the 1199 to the 899 !

  2. Yeah I didn't realise that until I got my 899. I love the fact that on the other side, I now have a hole where I can check the oil level. On the 2012 1199's they didn't have one and it was a complete ball ache to check! Happy days...

  3. the stickers on the nose and side fairing look good - are they just ebay jobs? so they seem good quality?

  4. They're genuine Panigale R decals that were fitted by the suppling dealer when the last owner bought the bike new.

  9. I'm getting a bit anal now..... but it's nice how the shock body matches the colour of your fork uppers. I've just had my Nitron I had on my 1098 rebuilt for my 1299 and luckily the shock body has come back black, which coincidentally matches the fork lowers on my bike.
    Before anybody says it, I know, I know, I'll get my coat :grin:
