I bought a 999 ducati performance one on eBay for next to nothing to use on my 959. It was slightly narrow, but bent easily.

 

interesting change,,, and you get a proper swing arm,,, so much better looking than the SS

 

Matt, can you use the Nitron shock either way around? I've picked a secondhand one up and it looks like it has mounting holes for the guard but I can't see them on your pics
