I*t is f-ing cold. Not sure if I should take heated vest and complain later or be cold now...... Why did I get up so early!!!
At McDonald's Petersfield thawing out hands before the final push. Who's been playing with the thermostat!
Apologies for not speaking to more of you today (especially the young lady with the Monster who was advising me on parking - despite Goodwood issuing tickets no bikes made it trackside, so it wasn't just me that wasted time applying!). I was grumpy on arrival due to gear selection "issues", so didn't speak to you all then - you know what us boys are like when we break our toys! Thanks to the chap with the Cagiva (sorry I'm rubbish with names but he's a fellow 851 owner so obviously a good guy) for helping me out. Looks like it's gearshift rather than gearbox, as she was better behaved on way home. I didn't stay long as I didn't want to get stuck in Worthing traffic once the general masses had got up, so apologies for not joining you for a mug of Tea. I shall be watching for another meet to say hello properly. Here's some photos though:
A pleasure Paul, was confident it was just the external shift mechanism as the return spring effort felt quite healthy once given a helping hand.
Was a good day, anyone else see the tvr in the trees the wrong way round? Bits of grey fiberglass everywhere! Oh, and I got an invite to a speed awareness course on the way home from an undercover copper on a BMW.
