While not specifically GoPro Hero, and I have heard terrible things about GoPro at the mo, I recently used a mates GoPro Max in Jerez and was absolutely stunned by it. It fussy with SD cards, needs to be a decent brand (I can understand this having worked in the business) and must be 'at least' the minimum speed recommended but it was class... Here's a video I edited from the 260 footage, no fancy microphones or even covers on the mic (it has 12 of them). It's a class bit of kit. So much so my missus bought me one for Christmas while they are on sale, so it's already wrapped!
I have a Hero 9 for about 2 years now, no issues. I have a Gopro Suction mount but also have a helmet mount. They claim suction up to 150mph and they are correct, with great footage.
Mine is still absolutely shit. Tried differing SD Cards (all top end). Same on three different bikes (vtwin, triple and il4) so it’s not a specific vibration. I have now consigned it to the back of the bottom drawer. Total waste of time.
