V4 Got My New V4s

I did say in an earlier quote/post, that when a new bike like this is released, insurance companies seldom receive a positive and indeed relevant approach from under-writers.
At some point they all seem to see sense, not something I saw when my 1260MTS was released in 2018.....Woeful!!

Nice bike, can I ask with whom you are insured. I have just tried to get a quote and can't. Insurance company want additional security.

 

I wonder if new buyers could negotiate a year’s free insurance or at least a contribution, to get the first year out of the way until renewal quotes become aligned and more sensible.
The dealers might have a bit of leverage with their insurance broker.

 

Notice you didn’t spec the radar? Wonder how many people are adding it to the spec list? Also is Nav integrated In the screen on the new one?

 

Looks great and I need some of that Dura garage equipment in my life.

 

Nav can be mirrored from you phone to the sccreen. I am not expecting much in that area

 

Did you test ride one before buying?

 

I have not yet, scheduled for 1st week in Jan before lockdown so now I must wait. Not sure about OP, but I shall not buy a bike i have not tested.
To the inusrance question, it looks like the underwriters shall not insure a bike at this value unless it is in a garage and has a tracker

 

With kurviger you can develop twisty tracks and export them to your iphone or ipad. Just click on the export link generated by kurviger. The track on your device could be mirrored then to your dashboard if I am right. I can’not check this yet, but it works nicely with the sygic app on my ipad. (Just type kurviger.de in your web browser)

 

I'm a bit "envious" as you are starting 2021 with a New Multi much earlier than I am able to do so. My 2021 Multistrada 4VS Sport Full packed Enduro spec is not due here in the States till late March or (more likely) early April. The dealer has yet to get a demo bike so I have not ridden one yet as well.

Of course the Weather here in South Texas is quite viable IF I only had the bike.

The V4S Sport is not due in the UK till late March early April as well, no decent weather normally till then, so not too much of a worry!!

 

Ducati dealer OnYerBike has had a V4s sport demo since before Christmas

 

It could possibly be one of the demo bikes from Italy that the press used, I am only quoting what my dealer told me, spoke with others thats been told the same!!
