ok - I would say 80 quid then -I reckon 20 quid of that is going to be carriage as its pretty heavy. The cheapest I can find a shock on ebay at the moment is 90 plus the postage for a 796 shock. Howzat.
Have you got a link for those sidelight bulbs please? Theres so much choice I don't want to get some that don't fit. How are you getting on with the HID?
Not gone back to the HID yet.....I may get chance tomorrow but ive got brake hoses to fit to the RSV first....as you well know the fitting part is the easy bit - its getting the air out that's the pisser.... Rode it to work today....fuck....rear is much higher now....not a bad thing - just different - may be able to bring it down a little with adjustment but if not its fine - doesn't bother me.... As I say might get chance to do it this weekend.... Ill go an look for the bulbs now.... Found some but cant be 100% - think ive got some spares at home - ill let you know later...
Yeah those adjustable height rods are great. Mine was nose in the air a bit after I changed the fork springs but with the height adjuster and your shock it's great now. Turns in much nicer, not too fast and still stable. I have another thread I could go on the adjuster rod but it's fine for me now.
I did - the problem was that people when they've lost a bit they've lost the other bit....ie that small round allen key nut - I, on the other hand lost the fucking 4" bolt! - I did have a go a couple of weeks ago - I got it to where the hole was but side on to the hole....then it disappeared in there somewhere at which point I thought....sod that. It been in there ever since...I was thinking I might just fill up the swing arm with expanding foam just to fill the area so it cant move around.
Well, another thought was that if I took the rear hub out I could get to it through the back but cant find any pics of the swing arm without the hub in, from the back... I like the rattle. On my first hyper a couple of years back it was one of the contributing factors to getting rid of it....kept thinking it was going to blow up....now I love it...
