AS for the speed we weren't clocked at in 2012 (well I say we, I actually mean one of us (and not me - mine wont go that quick!)) I don't think I should say on a public forum - but it was considerably in excess of the figure mentioned above by figaro...

Nope as I don't own an Aprillia.... an my lickle 998 wont go that quick!!

 

Once got done in southern Turkey in the Lorry, ( fully loaded artic ) just set off from a set of traffic lights, 100 yds or so, might have got up to 15mph at most and was pulled for speeding, first they take the passport and then negotiate the backhander to get it back, on average I would get pulled over 4 times a trip by the Turks.
