Oh you naughty newbie where are your pictures we like them Please include your rubbish bins we like them and it keeps me happy Welcome into our mad house
Hi Yeah there seemed to only be the handbook "take it to a service centre, blah, blah" I'm certainly not going thousands of km for oil changes etc., and barring desmo valves and probablt belts, I'm up for doing plenty myself... it's a bonding thing
Well, keep looking. I have the workshop manuals for all my bikes and I downloaded them from somewhere (this would have been years ago).
Yeah, I'm half-hoping that a Ducati expert has or will write something akin to that 'Guzziology' manual that old-time mechanic wrote for people who like their twins sideways
Hi mate, yes. All it says is "no documents found in this category." However, I've sussed that this model is based upon the 797 and found a great US dealer who's put the entire parts manuals online. So I'm noting the numbers etc there, and then when I buy locally (super expensive, even for a Duc) I'll compare and confirm the numbers as I go. I'll whack it in a spread sheet and whittle away at it from there. Visually the diagrams line up too - as in the location of the oil filter screen is in the same spot as on the 797. For now this is all I've got sorted
Cheers, yeah she passes the critical test - I can't walk through the garage and resist looking back as the door comes down to look at her the whole time lol. I put a couple of pics up as she's in an uncommon colour for this model
Hi mate - is my photo album visible to you guys? I'm wondering if I've not set something up right. Wouldn't be the first time
Early morning run to French patisserie in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland NZ - worth the 60km round trip for that pastry alone. Mind you, that probably explains why I always ride in costume... yeah, heavily disguised as an old fat bastard...
