  2. sorry jnestie, just goes to show that commentators at the scene do get it wrong occasionally. I couldn't believe he could get off so lightly looking at the footage and you are right of course.

  4. That footage looks like the marshalls ran straight up to him and took his lid off. I thought that was a no no.

  5. One was loosening his chin strap while the other stabilised his head: doesn't mean they were taking it off - the footage stopped too soon to tell :smile:

  9. Amazed his leg wasn't broken or at least the knee dislocated.
    Guess it was the bike whacking into him that broke his back. That's the trouble with high-sides. Shows the value of back protection. Could have been much worse. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery Guy.
